SAC Su-47 Berkut by vjptox SAC Su-47 Berkut by vjptox
Dedicated to :iconyushinmaru:! :D
He requested me to draw a Su-47 musume long time ago ^^;

Anyway, her name is Marie Fontes, she's actually a gender bender of ~yushinmaru's OC, Marcos :XD: Hope you like it, man! :w00t:

And yup, Brazil has afforded the Berkut unit from Russia in my story ;) Together with the other South American nations battle the evil states :mwahaha:

I love how it looks!
Greetings from South America.

What plane does Argentina use in your story?
One they purchased? Or one they made themselves?

Haha, I'm planning to do an Argentinian mecha girl too later, but I'm still not sure about their planes :p
Btw, that SAIA 90 sure looks cool :o Sounds fun to create one!

Well, the most iconic airplane Argentina ever used was/is the FMA IA-58 Pucará. A ground attack airplane. [link]

The SAIA 90 was a planned fighter, but it was never actually built. It would be nice to see what you make out of it (if you actually end up using that one that is)

Hmmm, the Pucará aircraft is interesting indeed :o But maybe I'll try the SAIA 90 for the Argentinians. The design looks pretty futuristic to me :)

I would certainly look forward to see what you end up doing with it.

If I may add, you can consider the Pucará for Uruguay instead, since its their main attack aircraft (Uruguay has no fighter or interceptor aircraft, just attack planes)

Ah, so the Uruguay is still using the Pucara? :? Nice idea!
And yeah, I'm also thinking to provide more mecha musume for Argentina, Chile, and Venezuela too. So far, I'm planning a SAIA-90 girl for Argentina and Su-30 for Venezuela, not sure about Chile. But if you have more other ideas, that would be great! :D

Well, the thing with Chile is that they are basically the most US friendly country in South America besides Colombia. So their air force is made out completely from US airplanes. Currently, their main fighter aircraft is the F-16, and so far they are not planning on getting other airplanes. Maybe in the future they might get the Eurofighter Typhoon to replace their old F-5 Tiger II, but they are also thinking on just upgrading their F-16s to the MLU standard instead (they will make the final choice between this two options on 2015)

Oooh, I see :o Well, perhaps I'll choose an F-16 for Chileans in my project since well, I've already prepared a Typhoon musume exclusively for the Europeans :XD:
But yeah, since those F-16s are upgraded planes then maybe I should add some extra features or hardwares on them ;)

What the hell kind of rifle is that? =P
Those....rail-frame mounted in the upper receiver, where does it originally came from? Steyr AUG?

And.... What!? No trigger discipline!? ZETTAI YURUSENAI!! :lol:

Wow, there are radioactive hazard signs! Those Striker Unit must've been upgraded with nuclear propulsion engines =P

Haha, thanks :XD: That's my Ultimate Rifle o' Doom! 8-)
Yeah, the rail part came from AUG A2's :) Not many who could notice that :XD: And trigger discipline? No need, since she's ready to blow people's head off! :rofl: Actually, it was my mistake though =p

And yeah, it just came to my mind if a striker unit was powered with nuclear engines instead of magics ^^;

End of story.
(Do you not see how goddamn sleek those Su's are??? Compared to the clunky Lockheed design, it's that much better.)

The UNASUR symbol! :XD:

Nice work. Although I did hear that Brazil had gotten a license to manufacture Rafale's (Possibly with the intention of exporting to neighbouring countries at a much lower cost than France would be demanding).

Anyway keep up the good work. :)

Well, South American nations need some attention too, don't they? :lol: I couldn't find any other suitable organization though...

Yeah, I've heard the information from you before. But have they already? If only it's true then it'd be no problem for us to achieve modern fighters nowadays :XD: Getting cheaper and cheaper!

Many thanks for that :)

Well it's about to be seen. I hope the Brazilians can manufacture the Rafale at a lower price because the Argentine Air Force is in desperate need of new fighters. They would purchase new from the US or Europe but modern fighters are so expensive than the Air Force wouldn't be able to purchase more than half a dozen. Argentina's got a very limited military budget so options are low. ^^;

Low budget, huh? Here, TNI-AU is also still waiting for F-16 "prizes" from US --'

I see that FAA has lots of Mirages. Well, dunno if they're categorized to be outdated but after all I think currently Argentine Air Force is pretty tough to defend the territory. Guess most officials only would add modern fighters if they really think they need to :rofl:

Those Mirages are ancient stuff... they're like South-Atlantic War kind of old. Over 30 years!

The only "fighters" that are still in good flying conditions are the A-4AR Skyhawks and the Pampas.

The FAA really needs a few more new fighters. But the current leadership pretty much hates the military so they're keeping a very tight leash on it.

Then again.... if you look at Argentina's neighbours, there's little need for a Military at all. All countries are "friendly" to each other in the continent but then again there are many Argies that are suspicious of the Chileans (Because they got a very well financed and equipped military and have a history of f*cking around with the other countries such as Argentina during the 70s and 80s and with Peru and Bolivia since forever.

Brazil and it's emergence as regional military power also makes some people worry about Argentina being relegated to "B*tch status".

And then comes obviosuly the need to counter any possible threat from the British at Malvinas.

Venezuela is coming slowly but damn surely as a Military power but their military projection is more aimed around the north of South America and the Caribean. But if the Bolivians invite them to have bases in Bolivia (Since they're so good friends), then Chavez will have a growing unhealthy influence over Argentine Foreign politics. And causing yet more people to be worried that Argentina can be pushed around.

Aaah, I see. So South American nations do have the same type of situation... It's not really like what I thought about them first. Chile, Venezuela, British, that's tough :o

But you know, aside from the "superpower and friends", I think most nations don't have 100% combat readiness at all. If you compare FAA with TNI AU, we only have around 40% of our planes ready to deploy. We also have Skyhawks, but they've been grounded long time ago. And here, modernizing our military is difficult with such whiny neighbors and corrupt government =_=

Simply put, we can't be an aggressor or a good defender at the moment until some miracle happens :XD:

Problematic situation. But yeah it's very common for many 3rd world countries to have problems with combat readiness. Well look at the bright side. If all countries had these problems, there wouldn't be as many wars as we have today. :XD:

Sorry it took me forever to draw this ^^; Actually, I was kinda confused to choose one of your female OCs that you could actually recognize in my style. So that's why I "transformed" Marcos to be a female :stupidme:

Btw, does UNASUR really has a military cooperation? Since that's the only organization I've found for South American nations :p Haha, but perhaps Brazil would afford the Berkut one day, who knows? :w00t:

Oh, and no problem. The waiting was worth it. :) I really like the transformation of one of my characters.

Hm... and about UNASUR... I think it's only an economic cooperation. But maybe someday... who knows... xD
And I don't know if Brazil affording a Berkut is really possible. xD My president is really interested in those French Rafales...
